During my daily blog rolling, I ran across a tutorial over on Bower Power Blog for this thing called a pollen ball. She made it completely out of drinking straws and string.
For some reason, her tutorial is no longer available, but her source of inspiration was this brass beauty from Etsy seller MeganSherry.
If I had those kind of coins laying around, I would definitely shell them out for the brass version. But, since I'm not there YET, I knew I had to make one of my own.
So, if you follow me on Instagram, then you know that my attempt and recreating the pollen ball was quite a success...
