Shop with me: Mbabazi Styles

I love supporting small businesses, especially those that are female owned and local to my community. This is why Mbabazi House of Style has garnered such a place in my heart. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of hosting a "Last Minute" Shopping event at Mbabazi for all those last minute Christmas shoppers and I had THE best time!
Not only did I get to meet some amazing new people, but I got to spend some time talking to and getting to know the owner, Grace! She's such an intelligent, creative and beautiful soul, so it was such a treat to listen to her tell her story of her life in Uganda before coming to the states 4 years ago. She's doing an amazing job bringing us gorgeous, one-of-a-king, hand crafted goods made by either herself or her team in Uganda.

When I wasn't laughing with shoppers or wine tasting with The Stemmed Glass, my blogger bae Kim and I took a little time to peruse the shop and have a mini photo shoot with some of my favorite pieces! From home decor to all things fashion and accessories, Mbabazi (which means Grace), has a little bit of everything for everyone with an affinity for African culture.

A very special thank you goes to Grace for allowing me to feel a part of her team trusting me to host such a fun event! If you're local to Memphis, please do yourself a favor and stop by Mbabazi House of Style. And when you do, tell Grace that I sent you!

Stay tuned for my next hosting event! I better see you there!
